Status Update
Hello fellow mods!!
It's come to my attention that the new FAQ post I made ageeees ago (like a year ago) never actually got posted to the comm (this is my bad - I could swear I posted it but I can't find it so I clearly never actually did). If everyone is happy with it I'll go ahead and get it posted though.
In relation to that, Keina, did you manage to get a new rules post written? If not and you don't think you can do it/you're not active right now, I could help out with that?
The other thing I was going to do was tidy up the tags, what did you guys think of my suggestion in the original mod email? Here it is since it was so long ago:
I have a few ideas about tidying up the tags too. Since there's a lot of different categories for downloads we could streamline them a little, maybe to just have - downloads: audio, downloads: video (subbed), downloads: video (raw), downloads: scans, downloads: other. Then we could have separate categories for the audio, video and scans for example - audio: official release, audio: radio, audio: other, video: PV/Making, video: concert, video: drama/movie, video: variety show, video: music show, video: other, scans: magazine, scans: photo, scans: calendar/photobook, scans: other. As you say it might mean comm members will need to search by two tags to find something specific, but it'd be a lot easier if say they're just looking for anything subbed and it'll mean a lot less tags to confuse people with. We could always put a note in the sidebar directly above the tags list with how to search by multiple tags as well as having it in the FAQ.
How is everyone else doing? I know aquacraze is still active from all the updates on the comm and I can see Emiichan is still working on the moderation queue, is everyone else still here? ^_^

I'm still here! :D I'm on LJ pretty much every day so I do try and approve new members when I see them!
I still gotta put together a subbed videos masterpost but I just have no idea where to start because there's so many different people subbing and because I don't need subs I'm not in any subbing communities so I can't even see the posts sjdkhfsd D:
tidying up the tags is a good idea, so many johnnys comms are teeeeeerrible with the tags x_x

I'm probably the worse one here. Been neglecting my part for some time already, will get back to regular monthly posts, members approval and trying to update the comm's profile. Sorry!
About the tags, I'm okay with your idea. The tags part were from previous mods so I barely touch them.
